Sorry......again as I haven't been on here posting again.
The Drs report really knocked me for six and its taken me a while to get my head around. I have also been suffering with increasing frequency really low blood pressure. The type of low, where all you can do is lay in bed as if you get up you feel like you are going to pass out.
I bought myself a blood pressure monitor from Amazon and its been brilliant. I got it because Dr Y came around to see me due to my back pain and he took my blood pressure after my email! It came in completely normal, which I knew it would as I had no symptoms at the time. I'm regularly recording blood pressure readings in the 70 and 80's Systolic and in the 40's for Dia. Ive also managed to record with some difficulty that my blood pressure rockets upwards on standing along with my pulse. On standing alone my pulse can go from 85bpm to 135 bpm.
I have sent a letter to Dr Y going through all my symptoms and I included a chart with my BP readings on it. I hope he doesn't fall asleep whilst reading it! I asked him for his help as I have been discharged by Oxford. I haven't seen my neurologist since August 2009, basically no one is helping me or investigating what is going on.
The nausea I have been suffering from for months is getting worse. Due to this I find it extremely difficult to eat during the day. If I do eat I spend the next few hours trying to keep it down. I can only eat from around 4pm onwards. An hour after eating my blood pressure drops and continues to drop for several hours. So I end up going to bed as my vision goes grey and I feel so weak.
On a good note the weather here has been lovely and has really lifted my mood. I love this time of year when everything seems to spring back to life. I've even heard a woodpecker! Hopefully in the next few weeks we shall buy some plants for the back garden to brighten the place up a bit. Im hoping to grow lots of runner beans this year as we did really well with those last year and definately more potatoes. Ours were really yummy! We've lost a few plants to the weather over winter which is a shame, but then it gives me a chance to have a bit of a change around!
Hope all of you who are reading this are doing ok?
Thanks
